Sharqiya Governor Emphasizes Accelerating Vital Files and Improving Services for Citizens

Engineer Hazem Al-Ashmouni, Governor of Sharqiya, confirmed that the governorate is moving at an accelerated pace toward completing all important presidential files and paying attention to the files of legalizing state-owned lands and reconciliation in building violations,
as well as imposing control by removing illegal advertisements, dealing with spatial variables and responding to them daily, and confronting building violations on agricultural land or illegal building within the urban area.
This came during his chairing of the governorate’s Executive Council meeting, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Moati and Engineer Lobna Abdel Aziz, deputies of the governor, Major General Abdel Ghafar Al-Deeb, Secretary General of the governorate, Mr. Mohamed Kojak, Assistant Secretary General of the governorate,
Brigadier Ahmed Shaaban, Military Advisor to the governorate, Counselor Zakaria Al-Shafei, Legal Advisor to the governorate, directors of civil protection, traffic, utilities, and supply investigations departments, a representative of the church,

directors of service directorates, authorities and companies, heads of centers, cities and districts, and directors of general and qualitative departments, in the meeting hall at the Diwan General.
During the meeting, Engineer Shaimaa Salah, Director of the Spatial Variables Unit, reviewed the status of the spatial variables system in the governorate, noting that the total number of variables detected so far reached 188,523 variables, with responses to 188,471 variables, and the execution rate reached 99.97%, prompting the governor to confirm the necessity of taking all legal measures against violators.

Ms. Rehab Fouzy at the Technological Center also reviewed the status of requests for data certificates related to the reconciliation law in accordance with the executive regulations of the law on reconciliation in some building violations and legalizing their status issued by Law 187 of 2023,
as well as presenting the status of technological centers, which have received so far 1,624,622 requests, with 1,574,410 requests completed, and the overall execution rate reached 98.1%, prompting the governor to stress the speed of completing the building certificates for citizens applying for reconciliation, facilitating procedures for citizens, and completing the largest possible number of files in the shortest time possible.
During the meeting, Brigadier Mahmoud Metwally, Director General of State Property Protection, reviewed the status of property management at the Diwan General, noting that the governorate has completed registering 14,166 contracts in various centers and cities of the governorate, with ongoing completion of contracting on 569 requests, after necessary inspections, decisions, collection of advances, and registration on the system in accordance with the procedures taken in this regard.
Engineer Amira Al-Shahat, Director of the Advertisements Department, reviewed the status of advertisements during December, noting that 537 illegal advertisements were removed in coordination with relevant authorities, and the total licensed advertisements so far reached 29,412 advertisements, in accordance with the law, to preserve public funds and in line with the development and beautification plan witnessed by the governorate’s cities.
Engineer Wiam Abdel Hakim, Director of the Public Shops Licensing Center, reviewed the current status, noting that the total number of licenses issued to date reached 5,012 licenses, prompting the governor to stress accelerating progress in this vital and important file to preserve public funds and apply the law.
Mr. Mohamed Gowhar, Director of the Budget Department at the Diwan General, reviewed the status of revenue collection in city councils to date, which included collecting the general budget, special funds, monthly targeted linking, actual collected, and collection rates, prompting the governor to stress the necessity of activating the role of revenue departments in each center, city, and district, and full commitment to collecting all dues and arrears belonging to the state to maximize the governorate’s revenues and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
During the meeting, the governor stressed to heads of centers, cities, districts, authorities, companies, and service directorates the need to accelerate progress in implementing the investment and unified plan for the current fiscal year 2025/2026 by speeding up tender and award procedures and benefiting from allocated funds to complete ongoing projects in centers, cities, and districts to benefit citizens.
For her part, Ms. Houria Abdullah, Director General of Planning and Follow-up at the Diwan General, reviewed the status of implementing the unified plan in centers, cities, and districts, noting the following:
the total credits of the investment plan for the fiscal year 2025/2026 amounted to 994 million and 980 thousand pounds from the general treasury, in addition to 151 million pounds self-financing, making the total investments of the governorate one billion and 145 million and 980 thousand pounds,
with ongoing tender and award procedures, as well as requesting funding for the first phase from the National Investment Bank, which is carried out on programs (transport, roads and communications – supporting local and community services – improving the environment – local administration and technical support – economic development – urban and rural development), to improve the level of all public services provided to citizens, so that citizens feel the change toward a better life.
